At The Little Lancashire Village we offer a different kind of indoor play which combines both imagination and education within our 11 different areas. Each area is filled with exciting equipment, toys, realistic props and dressing up outfits to encourage all your Little Ones imaginations.

Inside our Village BOOK YOUR VISIT

Our Little Lancashire Village is based inside an old industrial mill in the centre of Burnley and has a variety of shops and job roles to inspire and allow your child to get into character, to engage with other children, learn to socialise and share all whilst acting out real life roles.

Our play sessions are pre-bookable online and run at set times throughout the day with a fixed duration. There are a pre-defined number of spaces available at each session so all our tiny tots can enjoy what our Little Lancashire Village has to offer. We close for a small amount of time inbetween each session to reset the areas and clean so that you would never know anyone has been. We advise that you book online, however you are more than welcome to pop in, but please be aware we may not have space for you in that session.

“Wow- What a fab place! Every room has so much to do and the attention to detail is amazing. There is nothing like this round here and it’s such a great place to play and learn. I’ll be recommending Little Lancashire Village to everyone- love it!

Hannah Gilraine

Benefits of Roleplay…

Role play forms an essential part of a child’s development and is an important element of their learning. Children learn through observing others, imagining and taking part in role play.

As children play, they develop fundamental cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Young children also learn practical life skills such as dressing themselves, problem solving, how to cooperate, and share with other children.

Little Lancashire Village is a place where your little ones can dress up and get into character through imaginative play.

“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of the childhood.”

Fred Rogers
